The CSU’s mission is to serve students, defend their rights, and act as their highest representative body at Concordia. Two things are essential: that we are beholden to our membership, and that our funds are used responsibly.

Description of the Role: The Sexual Violence Accountability Committee’s duty is to review cases of sexual misconduct and assault in relation to CSU elected and appointed members. The Committee will meet whenever a complaint is filed against any CSU Representative and are responsible for investigating complaints and imposing sanctions on CSU Representatives if necessary.
Eligibility: Student at Large: Applicants must show interest in collaborating to come to a solution for the complaints at hand.
Member at Large: Applicants must have demonstrable experience in advocating issues in regards to sexual violence.
If selected, members will be required to attend a three-hour consent training within two months of their appointment by the Centre for Gender Advocacy or Sexual Assault Resource Centre.
